Target Table Revamp

I saw this damaged Target table at Goodwill for $7. I had previously admired the same table at Target for $80, so I knew I had to snag it. The only issue is that the border of the table is broken. Easy fix!

I took 1 inch trim, which you can buy at Lowes pretty cheaply. I think it was $12.00 for 10-12ish feet. I  used the miter saw and cut each end at a 30 degree angle. The tedious part was moving the saw back and forth with each cut. I went piece by piece.

My hubby had the great idea of using a piece of tape, to tape off the angle I needed to cut. My hubby's tip was so smart because it was easy to get confused having to move the saw back and forth each time.

After everything was cut I spray painted the border black, along with the table base.

And then I glued two pieces at a time so I could line them up properly. I let each piece dry for 24 hours before removing the clamps. The gluing process was the longest and that took 3 days.

Next, I cleaned the top off. There was a bunch of sticky residue. And then I was done!
