How to make Bread Boards

I saw these bread boards at West Elm and thought they would make a great Christmas gift. I also thought instead of buying them I could make them and that's exactly what I did. This has to be one of the easiet projects I have ever made.

I picked up some nicer pieces of wood from the hardware store. I used several maple pieces and some pine.

I drew out my design.

Next, I got out the jigsaw and cut accross my design.

I used the drill press to drill a hole at the handle, but you could also use just a regular drill. After sanding, staining, and poly-coating I was done.

Easy as 1-2-3. I loved the way these bread boards turned out and was very excited to give them to their recipients on Christmas.

These make such great gifts!!!!!
